HTTYD Chp3: Human like me

Your P.O.V  


Surprising… very surprising!!! I just couldn’t believe it! There is a male dragon, a same species like me. Although he’s a bit bigger and the colours are different but I’m 100% sure that we are one of the kind, don’t know why.

He looked at me with excitement in his eyes, we both sniffed at each other to confirm the scent. Yes, it was the same scent. I’m not the only one left! Wao! Another night fury just like me, although you look a bit different. I thought I’m the only one left in this world. He said. Me too, I thought I’m the only one living. I said with excitement.

For some reason, we both just couldn’t look away from each other. Looking closely from head to tail and wao~! He is so damn HOT! He looked like one year older than me and just look at his scale, it so shiny black. Such an amazing dragon, I left like I’m in love with him.
“There you are Toothless…”

Ah~ I see… so his name is Toothless… Such a cute- wait… another voice? Human?! Is here?! Oh no! I need to hide! Trying to get away but I was still pinned down by him tightly. I know it’s a shame to break this mood but can you please let me hide first? Human is coming. I begged. Oh him? He’s my friend, you don’t have to be afraid of him. You will like him when you see him. He said cheerfully.



Want me meet this human and like him?! I rather die! All I could think now is to hide before the human sees me with fear, take out a weapon, and attack me. The human is coming closer and I was still pinning down, not letting me go, I roared at him to give him my warning and then use my tail to give him a hard push, which caused a huge splash on the water. Sorry... but this is for my own good.

As he let go off me, I quickly hid behind the rocks with my both wings as armor, covering my whole body. Why there is a human in this place? Did they found me? And why is he not hiding from the human?

Take a small peek to see if there was anyone there and all of the sudden, Toothless, if I remember that human had just called him, suddenly popped out from nowhere, looking at me happily. Hey, why are you hiding here? Come and play with me. He said cheerfully while wagging his tail like a dog. There is a human, aren’t you going to hide?
He shook his head as I asked. Why should I? he’s not just a human, he’s my friend, my rider and don’t worry, he won’t harm you.



Yeah, an idiot would believe that. I murmured to myself and from the edge of the rock, a human figure slowly appeared in front of me and I quickly shut myself in my wings tightly to prevent  the human looking in. I understood human language, thinking that he will say something negative to me but from the outside, I could hear him calling me beautiful and somehow, the air inside is getting to heat up… Wait, am I blushing? By those human words?

“It’s ok…”

Is he talking to me?

“I’m not going to hurt you... Well, if you too don’t hurt me too…”



That was my line, human... Like hell, I would believe you. Don’t worry, he’s a good person, a good-chief-to-be… he even saved me. Toothless said. You sure? I asked, just to confirm he was not lying. Yup, for the whole 6 years already. Not only just him, everyone in the village have a dragons.

Oh really? So the world had changed. From hated to love of the dragon. I decided to open up my wings a bit to peek at the human… and it’s a male human with a height a bit higher than me. Two green forest eyes and an auburn messy hair with two small braids on his bottom right of his head.

Wow! How long I had seen a human this so close? 19 years? 20 years? Not sure. He somehow good-looking too, if in  human thoughts. Toothless is good looking too in dragon thoughts. Since I’m in between, both of them are really good looking. The human then placed his hand in front of me, I sniffed it. I smelled trust from him and decided to open up my wings to him. As I opened my wings, his excitement turned into a surprised expression, more like in fear.



I knew it! He thinks I’m weird. I quickly closed my wings tightly again and then, I could felt a soft touch on my wings. A touch of a human, and it was warm. “Hey…” he said softly. “It’s ok… You no need to be afraid. I’m not going to hurt you.”

Once again, I decided to trust him again and opened up my wings slightly even bigger, he smiled at me as I opened up. Looking at his hand which still in front of me and automatically, I paced my cheek on his hand. His hand, was really soff and warm than I expected, compare t mine, was a claw of dragon, and the way I felt his hand made me remember the touched of my parent’s death. Feel o nostalgic. Moreover, did I just see his face turn red? “Wao~ another night fury… in a human version.” The human said softly. “I wonder is it really possible. And your skins… white… and beautiful… more like white fury instead of night fury. You seems to understand what I say right?”

I nodded to his question. “I see, and then can you speak in my language?”

I nodded again and then his face began to fill with hope. “Then does that mean, you can translate whatever the dragon say?”

I then nodded again and he suddenly shouted with excitement got me heart attack and I quickly closed my wings again. “Opps, sorry. I didn’t mea to scare you. It’s ok… So sorry. I just get too excited.” I opened again. “So erm… My name is Hiccup… What’s yours? Wait, I wonder d you actually have one.”

He’s asking my name. I guess telling him won’t hurt a bit. Getting up my courage, I spoke, “Nin.” He smiled and said my name suits me well. He then asked me if I was lost and ih I have a place to go, I shook to both of his question and then, he asked me if I want to come to his village. I looked at him in surprised; a human actually invited me to come to his village? Was it a trap? I looked at my new dragon friend and he looked at me with his puppy eyes, hoping for me to say ‘yes’.


Therefore… I did


Whatever it will happen, I’ll just get ready to be on guard.




Hiccup’s POV

That was amazing! Does it really exist? Half human and half dragon. She is beautiful. I really want to know more about her. She closed back her wings when I tried to talk to her. I stroked her wings; it was the same touch as I touch Toothless wings. Trying to comfort her, telling her I bring no harm to her, slowly she opened up her wings and showed out her face, the way the sunlight shone her face as if she was sparkling like a white pearl. She looks so beautiful, like the most beautiful person I have ever seen compare to the girls I had seen in Berk. Her hair was natural shiny white and so was her eye, fair skin with white scales on her face, which doesn’t even spoil her beauty. She then looked ad placed her cheek on my hand and began to rub against it to earn my trust. I know it… I know it already, but why am I blushing when she did that?

After get to know her, I realized that she had no place to go and then for no reason, I suddenly asked, “How about… I mean… would you like to come to my village and stay with me?”

Wait, why did I say that?! Well… she will definitely say no- wait… she just nodded her head? YES- ok calm down… Don’t overreact… or else she’ll get scared and change her mind again. “Ok then, et us head home shal we?” Again, she nodded her head.



I went and sat on Toothless to get ready to fly out of the pit hole, “Ok… ready to go- OH MY THOR!!!” I looked at Nin and I quickly turned away from her with embarrassment because I saw something that should not see. I know her private parts were covered with white scales, the other part like her S-body line… I just couldn’t look at her straight.”Er… N-Nin…” I shuttered with embarrassment without looking at her. “Do-do you ha-have anything to we-wear first?”

Getting the courage to look at her face and not other part of her body, she tilted her head to her side, as she didn’t know what I meant. “Never wear clothes before?” she then tilted to the other side. That’s when I began to think. “Okay~ how should I bring her without bringing so much attention?”
