Destiny? (Akashi X Centaur! Reader)

You are a centaur, surprisingly you are and you are proud with it. With your beautiful white coat and your white mane tail, you just so satisfy your beauty. You lived in the deep forest where there is a waterfall for you to wash, a meadow to run and a cave for you to shelter.

Your life was perfect and quiet until one day, you meet him. A red haired young man was wondering around in the woods with his friends who decided to do some camping, looking for fresh water to cook. You were having your refreshment and your ears precked up fast by the unfamiliar sound and quickly hid in the bushes and there you saw them. Humans ,walking on two legs.


Carefully, you watched both of them filling up a bucket of water and headed back when the red haired guy turned and looked into the bushes and straight into your eyes. You were surprised that he actually sees you in the dark forest and make an eye contact with you. Can he actually sees you? “Akashi-kun… what’s wrong?” A light blue haired asked as he saw his friend was left behind.

“Nothing,” the red haired guy said and followed then and disappeared into the woods.


You didn’t know why but somehow you felt something, it brought you back to the past when you were a royal knight in the history. Loyal to the king who shone brightly on the throne, giving you orders and taking it seriously making sure you succeeded it.
That guy, he gave out the same aura like the last ruler you had served. It’s been so long you get to see a mortal like…200 years already? Whatever, you still feeling young, wild and free.

You decided to leave them be and went deeper into the forest and have your dinner…and that is…greens of course. Night falls coming fast, you decided to have a cold bath after your long hard training. You always have cold bath before bed which it refreshed your body horse. Taking off your clothes which was used for decades already and surprisingly didn’t rot at all. Place it on a rock and take a shower at the waterfall.

The waterfall on your head fast and hard, but this was nothing to you when you were training in the past. Coming out from the water and take off your clothes, you accidentally ripped into half. You sighed, that was you one and only clothes you have.


All of a sudden, something flies towards you and you quickly grabbed it and you realised it was clothes but a bit smaller to it. You looked at the direction and saw the same red haired guy but shirtless. That must be his clothes I was holding. “Wear this.” That’s what he said.


You said nothing but take a bow as a gratitude. Carefully watching him while wearing his clothes on, waiting for the next movement he will make. The guy just walked to the nearby log and sat down and enjoyed the night view. You decided to sit next to him but being caution at the same time. “I am surprised  you are not scared of me. You are not scared that I maybe a bad person?” he asked.

“I have seen humans a lot and I can see if you are bad or not.” You said, and then shoot him a glare. “But, if you try anything funny, then I will show you no mercy.”


He then let out a small chuckle. “ Don’t  worry, I have no weapons to harm you and I have no reason to attack you too.” True he said, but still standing guard. “Akashi Seijuro…that is my name.”

“(First name)(Middle name)(Last name). But you can call me (your name) for short.

“Beautiful name suits a lady like you.” He complimented.

“I am a centaur, not a lady, However, I appreciate your compliments. I am grateful.”

“The way you speak, you must have served me lots of higher rank people. Like for example, (random emperor’s name)”

“He was the last master I had served and he sets me free before his last breath.” You explained.

“How long have you lived?” Akashi asked.

“Almost 200 years. We centaurs have longer life span than you humans.”

“You never got old?”

“Not until I found my destiny, then my life span will change, depends on my partner.”


The chat just went on and on… You talked about the history and war you had been through while he talked about the outside world was like and how it changes. It has been a long time you had talked to someone which you almost lost your guard a few times.“Would you like to meet Yukimaru? It would be nice to have someone to run with.” Akashi requested.

“I guess it would be an honor to accept this invitation. But I never really go further than here.” You concerned.

“Don’t worry, this place is Akashi’s territory and most of the wild here are under my protection. That is why I often come and horse-ride with my Yukimaru. But then, I’m quite surprised that you hide well in the forest.

“We centaurs hide well from danger.” You the looked up at the sky. “It’s getting late now late now, aren’t you going back?”

“Looks like I need to go back to my camp now,” Akashi stood up and dusted himself. “It’s really nice chatting with you, (Y/N). Next time, come and meet my teammates.”

“You too, Sir Akashi,” you slightly bow. “And I will when I am prepared.”

“Seijuro… Just Seijuro is fine.”

“Well then, Seijuro, have a pleasant night.”


Just like that, both of you go on the separate way. Although it was just a short moment, you could feel a royal aura that makes you want to serve him like the previous king again. You then turned and called his name. Akashi stopped and turned, you walked torwards him and looked straight into his eyes.“You have one powerful eye, Sir Seijuro. Just like the previous king I had served. And the moment I met you, you made a same aura like him so…” you then bowed down and he was taken aback by your action. “I… (First name)(Middle name)(Last name) will serve you as my master and I will use my life to follow you and protect you for eternity. Please allow me to be your slave to serve you till the end.

“That won’t be necessary.” He answered. You are confused by his word. Was that a reject? He then lifted up your chin and made you look into his eyes. “But you are always welcome to come and see me. It was nice to be with you (Y/N)”


There was a spark and immediately your face turned red. Akashi noticed it and let out a small chuckle, saying goodbye to you and went back until he disappeared into the woods.

As for you, you just kept holding your hot face and you felt your heart can’t stop beating rapidly. You never felt like this before, could it be… he is your destiny?

“Akashi-kun, I want to ask… why you were shirtless yesterday?” Kuroko questioned.

“Something happened last night.” Akashi replied.

“Eh? What happened?” Kise butted in.

“Do not worry… you will soon meet her.”

“Her?” they repeated. “Who?”

“She maybe acted tough but on her inside, she is shy and adorable. I feel like, this must be destiny to meet her.” Letting out a small chuckle everyone flinched, no idea who he was together with.


As for you, you were hiding behind the tree and listened to the whole conversation, blushed hard when he called you cute.
